Deveco Tri-Color Concentrates

Deveco Trivalent chromates are easily dyed yellow, blue, green, aqua (blue-green), purple, teal, olive drab or red.

Colors can be produced as a single dip by incorporating the TRI-color concentrate in the chromate bath, or they can be dyed in a secondary dip tank.  Several of the dyes degrade over time when made into liquids, so they are added as powders.

Deeper colors in shorter times can be obtained by raising the dye solution temperature.

Deveco Tri-dye Builder added (1 to 2%) in dye solution also produces a deeper, more uniform color.

pH of the dye solutions is lowered with Acetic Acid, or raised with Ammonium Hydroxide.
